JOSEPH E. BOCCIA
BIO
Joseph Boccia is an associate at Clendenen & Shea, where he focuses his practice on representing individuals and businesses in disputes before state and federal courts, and arbitration and mediation proceedings. He graduated from the University of Connecticut Honors Program in 2014 with a degree in History and Political Science. He earned his Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University School of Law, magna cum laude in 2017.
While in law school, Attorney Boccia was the Research & Symposium Editor of the Law Review, President of the Moot Court Society, and Creative Director of the Mock Trial Society. He also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Michael P. Shea of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut. Mr. Boccia was also an intern at the Connecticut Office of the Attorney General.
As a member of Quinnipiac’s Mock Trial Society, Mr. Boccia participated in the Texas Young Lawyers Association National Trial Competition where his team won the Northeast Regional and advanced to the National level. Attorney Boccia won Best Overall Advocate Award at the Northeast Regional competition.
